Access and working hours control systems

Access control systems are used in areas that require increased control and limited access of unauthorised persons to particular areas or facilities keeping track of all access activities.

Access control system may be integrated with the working hours control system and it may be even used to calculate employees’ salaries. That is the reason why these systems have become the most important element in the system of control and protection of people and property. They are an integral part of the concept of technical protection, but very often, they appear as autonomous systems.

Non-contact readers are usually used for identification, but high-risk areas and facilities are supplied with entry keyboards in combination with biometric readers (scanning the cornea, fingerprints, etc.). Access control and authorization may also be implemented on vehicles equipped with special transmitters that establish a contact with a reader installed in the pavement and lift a ramp, open a garage door, a warehouse door, etc.
